DESCRIPTION:Every month\, Poster House offers virtual Vibrant Verbal Description Tours specifically for community members who are blind or have low vision. In order to reach a wide\, art-loving audience around the world\, we offer our description tours online through Zoom. These tours are led by our Educators\, allowing you intimate access to the items in our current shows and permanent collection. \nThis month’s tour will focus on the exhibition\, Copy/Paste/Print/Repeat: Mike King & the Art of the Gig Poster. \nPlease email access@posterhouse.org or call ‪914.295.2387 to sign up for this event. You will be emailed poster images for reference as well as information about accessing Zoom the morning of the virtual tour. Members will first be guided around Drawn From The New Yorker: A Centennial Celebration and then Modern Comics\, which spotlights the original artwork of John Hankiewicz\, Aidan Koch\, Olivier Schrauwen\, and Lale Westvind. \nThis tour will take place at the Society of Illustrators\, located at 128 E 63rd St\, New York\, NY 10065. Space is limited! \nAccessibility Note: Unfortunately\, this gallery is not wheelchair accessible and there is no elevator for public use. We hope to see you at future wheelchair-accessible events.
