In honor of Poster House’s collaboration with Welcome to Chinatown and our Artist in Residence Program, join Mott Street Girls for a walking tour through the historic streets of Manhattan’s Chinatown. This guided experience highlights the neighborhood’s small businesses with stops at cherished family-owned establishments and new neighborhood favorites. Along the way, participants will hear captivating stories about Chinatown’s rich heritage and resilience while supporting local businesses that reflect the community’s vibrant spirit.
Mott Street Girls is dedicated to making Chinese American history and culture more accessible to the public. Founded by Anna Huang and Chloe Chan, second-generation Chinese Americans, the organization offers engaging food and history walking tours through Manhattan’s Chinatown, creates educational social-media content, and collaborates with community organizations. Its mission is to preserve the neighborhood’s rich cultural heritage, support local businesses, and share inspiring stories about the Chinatown community.

The museum will provide headsets that are compatible with standard RF devices to ensure that the tour guide can be heard. ASL (American Sign Language) interpretation is available upon request.
