Design and print a one-of-a-kind bookmark in this linocut workshop inspired by Reading Under Fire: Arming Minds & Hearts During Wartime!
Block print artist Helen Zhang will guide visitors step by step as they carve a custom stamp and hand-print bookmarks to share and trade with others. This beginner-friendly workshop invites curious makers to express themselves through creativity, craft, and community.
All supplies are included, and each participant will walk away with their carved block, a Block Print 101 guide to help continue the fun at home, and—of course—unique bookmarks!
Ticket price includes one complimentary beverage from Café des Affiches. Grab a drink and dive into the wonderful world of linocut printing!
Helen Zhang is a New York City-raised block print artist and the founder of Kintsugi Print Studio. Her work focuses on hand-carved prints that combine cultural symbolism with graphic storytelling. She leads approachable, beginner-friendly workshops that encourage learning through making and shared creative experience.
