Poster House is thrilled to host an artist talk and print sale with the one and only Amos Paul Kennedy, Jr. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear directly from one of the most prolific and lauded letterpress printers in the United States, in conversation with Poster House Chief Curator Angelina Lippert. A longtime friend of the museum known for his distinctive, layered printing style and strong political and social commentary, Kennedy will discuss his process and approach to printmaking.  In addition to being the subject of The Letterpress Posters of Amos Kennedy at the museum in 2020, his work is currently featured in  We Tried To Warn You! Environmental Crisis Posters, 1970-2020. Four of his posters are also on display as part of the permanent Poster History Timeline. Immediately following the talk, Amos will have a selection of posters available for purchase, so bring your questions and your cash!

Accessibility Note: Masks and clear masks are available free of charge at the museum. Assistive listening devices and stools are available. ASL (American Sign Language) interpretation or a CART (Communication Access Realtime Translation) is available upon request. Please contact access@posterhouse.org or (914) 295-2387 to request interpretation services and to address any other accessibility needs.
