Teens Take the Met

Poster House is teaming up with over 40 other community partners to take over The Metropolitan Museum of Art for the night as part of #TeensTakeTheMet!!!

Stop by for a night of collage and printmaking, dance, workshops, and much more — or just stroll the galleries with your buddies.

Poster House and our friends at the New York Historical Society will be located in the library of the Met. Visit us to choose a protest poster by ThoughtMatter to take home, and make a button based on posters in our exhibition 2020 Insight: Posters from the 2017 Women’s March. Here’s your chance to get involved and take action, even if you’re not old enough to vote, yet!

Please note: This event does NOT take place at Poster House. Participants should meet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
